Archbishops Chrysostomos of Cyprus and Ieronymos II of Athens come to celebrate the jubilee of the Edict of Milan
Their Beatitudes Archbishop Chrysostomos of New Justiniana and All Cyprus and Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece with the plane arrived in Belgrade yesterday at 15.20, on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of the Edict of Milan.
His Beatitude Archbishop of Cyprus is accompanied by Bishop Nectarios of Arsinoe and archdeacon Cyprianos, while His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens is accompanied by Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Messinia, archimandrite Ieronymos, archdeacon Epyphanos, as well as Mr. Trandafilos Georgusis and Professor Christos Bonis.
His Eminence Metropolitan John Zizyulas, the member of the delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, also arrived with the same plane.
At the airport the high guests and their entourage were welcomed by the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, and Bishops: Irinej of Backa, Ignatije of Branicevo, Pahomije of Vranje, Irinej of Australia-New Zealand, Porfirije of Jegar, Andrej of Remesiana and others. Also the Ambassador of Greece H.E. Konstantinos Ikonomidis and Dr. Mileta Radojevic, Director of the Office for cooperation with traditional Churches and religious communities also were present at the welcome reception.
