Belgrade's Cathedral church celebrates its slava
On the day when our Holy Church celebrates the Synaxis of St. Michael the Archangel, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch led the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Belgrade's Cathedral church with the concelebration of the priests of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac, the head of the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church in Belgrade archpriest Vitaly Tarasjev, as well as guest from the Russian area of Rostov-on-Don, archpriest Georgi Smorkalov - hierarchal deputy of Shahtin and the secretary of the Diocese of Shakhtinskaya-Millerovsky of the Metropolitanate of Don.
During the Holy Liturgy Serbian Patriarch ordained Zelimir Prodanovic a deacon. His Holiness cut the slava cake with celebratnts of the Synaxis of St. Michael the Archangel - Mr. Miodrag Petrovic. He is a donator of six crosses for a new church of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Gushing in New Belgrade. Also he is the donator of the cross of the church of St. Sava in Dusseldorf.
Pious people of the capital fulfilled the Cathedral church in which the service of God was attended also by Mr. Vojislav Milovanovic - proto master of the St. Sava Cathedral, Mr. Dejan Bodiroga with his family, Professor Dr. Radmila Milentijevic, Mr. Milos Sobajic and othe public figures of the Serbian capital.
