Metropolitan Amfilohije serves in monastery of Moracha
His Eminence Archbishop Amfilohije of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral has served this morning with priesthood the Holy service of God in a monastery of Moracha. Metropolitan Amfilohije and the president of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic activated a mini hydroelectric power plant "Vrelo" which is located within the monastery compound.
During liturgical speech Metropolitan gave on behalf of the Holy Synod of Bishops and His Holiness Patriarch Pavle an order of St Sava of the second degree to the architect Radovan Radovic, who projected many churches on the territory of the Metropolitanate.
After the liturgy Metropolitan consecrated a newly restored monastery mill and newly built mini hydroelectric power plant "Vrelo" which would produce more electric energy than the monastery needs.
Metropolitan Amfilohije will serve tomorrow with a few Bishops a Holy service of God at the foundations of the Cathedral church of St Jovan Vladimir in Bar, starting at nine in the morning.
President of Montenegro together with Metropolitan Amfilohije formally started the monastery hydro plant .
The event will be even more greater thanks to family Androvic who is bringing in Bar specially for this occasion the cross of Saint Jovan Vladimir.
