May 29, 2009, was the third day of the visit of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel at the Ecumenical Patriarchate. The two Primates, His Holiness Bartholomew I, the Ecumenical Patriarch, and His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, have met again this morning at the Patriarchal Residence in Constantinople, discussing the collaboration between the two patriarchies, as well as the situation of the Romanian Orthodox parish in Istanbul. The meeting was also attended by members of the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel has visited today, May 30, 2009, the Museum of Anatolian Culture located in Turkey's capital, Ankara. The delegation of the Romanian Patriarchate was guided by His Excellency Ioan Pascu, Romania's Ambassador to Turkey. From this location, the envoys of the Romanian Patriarchate, led by His Beatitude, left for the homeland of St. Basil the Great, reaching Cappadocia at 1 p.m.

Vesper Celebrated in Sinassos

The delegation of the Romanian Patriarchate, led by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel, has reached today, May 30, 2009, Cappadocia, at around 1 p.m. His Holiness Bartholomew I, the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, and His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, have assisted at the Vespers celebrated in the Holy Emperors Constantine and Helen Church in Sinassos (Mustafapaşa). The service was celebrated by Right Rev. Cipran of Campina, Patriarchal Vicar Bishop, starting at 5:30 p.m. The two Patriarchs have addressed sermons to those present.
