Peace from God! Christ is Born!

Bulletin Issued by the Permanent Medical Council on the Health Condition of Patriarch Pavle – Dec 21st, 2007

The Bulletin issued by the VMA’s (Military Medical Academy) Permanent Medical Council on the health condition of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle on the 21st of December, 2007, states:

The tendency towards a slight improvment of His Holiness’ health condition continues, with vital functions remaining stable.

Treatment, intenive monitoring and a rehabilition program are maintained.

Bulletin Issued by the Permanent Medical Council of the Military Medical Academy on the Health Condition of Serbian Patriarch

In the Bulletin submitted by the Military Medical Academy's Permament Medical Council to the Holy Synod of Bishops on the 20th of December, 2007, it is stated that His Holiness Patriarch Pavle's general condition is slightly improving, with normal body temperature values and stable vital functions. Intensive treatment continues, along with a rehabilitation program.

Bulletin issued by the Medical Council on the Health Condition Patriarch Pavle - 18.12.2007.

The general health condition of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle has deteriorated during the week-end, showing an increase in body temperature due to respiratory and urinary infections. Appropriate treatment has been introduced while further monitoring continues.

Statement on Patriarch Pavle's Health Condition

During the course of yesterday, His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle overcame his serious health problems successfully and with the whole-hearted support of the Military Medical Accademy's (VMA) medical and hospital staff. The Patriarch's heart function is turning normal. The liquid accumulated in His lungs is gradually being absorbed. His Holiness spent a relatively calm night. His general health condition is becoming more stable, but remains serious.

Treatment continues intensively.
