The feast of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul and this 2012 was solemnly celebrated in Arandjelovac, in the church devoted to their honour. The feast's vigil service, at which there were many believers, was served by HIs Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija, with the concelebration of local priests.
On Thursday, July 12, 2012 Peter and Paul's monastery celebrated its slava with the Divine Liturgy which was served by His Grace Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina. During the Liturgy there was a baptism, and many believers partook the Holy Sacrament. After the solemn procession, Bishop Grigorije addressed the present.
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served yesterday, on the feast of Saint Peter, the Divine Liturgy in the churhc of Sts. Apostles Peter and Paul in Vinca. In the afternoon Serbian Patriarch Irinej served moleben at the Terazije fountain, so the 120th anniversary of the foundation of the Belgrade water supply system was marked.
Vicar of Serbian Patriarch, His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno served yesterday, on the occasion of the church slava, the Divine Liturgy in the church of Sts. Apostles Peter and Paul on Topcider.
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received yesterday on July 10, 2012 at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade His Excellency Francois-Xavier Deniau, ambassador of the Republic of France in Belgrade and Mr. Henri Loyrette, General Director of the Louvre Museum in Paris with associates.
His Grace Bishop Maksim of Western America visited the monastery of Hilandar on a great feast - Saint Vitus Day. On this occasion he conveyed greetings of believers from his diocese who participated with a great love and sacrifice in a charity enterprize "Circle 100" and collected, in the first of three annual actions, 100.000 USD for the help of the restoration of the monastery of Hilandar.
His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren met on July 7, 2012 in Skopje with His Grace Bishop David of Stobi and locum tenens of Strumica in order to express his support to Metropolitan Jovan of Skopje, as well as all members of the Orthodox Archbishopric of Ohrid.
