Bishop's Palace consecrated in Kraljevo

On the fourth Sunday following Easter, on May 2/15 2011, on the feast day of St. Athanasius the Great, the Diocese of Zica was visited by His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch. The motive of the visit was a consecration of the newly built Bishop's Palace in Kraljevo.

Building of the church starts in D. Budacki near Karlovac

In the youngest monastery of the Diocese of Gornji Karlovac Donji Budacki, near Karlovac, the building of the church of Holy Three-handed Theotokos. The funds for construction of this church were provided within the action which was supported in media by the Radio Television of Republic of Srpska.

Celebration of St. Athanasius the Great on Cukaricka Padina

Today's holiday devoted to Saint Athanasius the Great, has been solemnly celebrated with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church on Cukaricka Padina dedicated to the Christian ascetic St. Petka.

The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, Vicar of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch with the concelebration of priests and deacons of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac.

Holy Assembly of Bishops of the SOC started with the Divine Liturgy

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served the Divine Liturgy in Belgrade's Cathedral Church which was a beginning of the regular session of the Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, in a presence of all Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Invocation of the Holy Spirit was served for a blessed and successful work of the Assembly.
