His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch awarded on February 22, 2012 in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade Messrs Milovan Vitezovic and Miodrag Vujovic with the Order of Saint Despot Stephen Lazarevic in the presence of the members of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church Their Graces Bishops: Vasilije of Srem, Irinej of Backa and Jovan of Sumaidja; Their Graces Bishops Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, as well as representatives of the cultural and public life of the Serbian capital.
His Grace Bishop Vasilije of Zvornik-Tuzla on February 19, 2012 served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of the Saint Greatmartyr George in Kiseljak.
In the Cathedral church in Trebinje, the Divine Liturgy was served by Bishop Grigorije with the concelebration of priests and deacons of our Diocese. After the reading of the Holy Gospel, the present faithful were addressed by Bishop Grigorije.
The feast day of St. Sava the Second, who was the son of king Stephen the First-Called - Predislav and the third Serbian archbishop, was solemnly celebrated in the Patriarchate of Pec on February 8/21 2012. The Divine Liturgy was served by His Grace Bishop Jovan of Lipljan, vicar of the Serbian Patriarch in the sidechapel of All Serbian Saints with the concelebration of protopresbyter Miroljub Marinkovic, syngellos Ignjatije Ilic and hieromonk Petar Decanac.
On Meat fare Sunday, on the feast day of Saint Photios the Patriarch of Constantinople and Saint Vukol the Bishop of Smyrna, on February 19, 2012 His Grace Bishop Pahomije of Vranje with the concelebration of His Grace Bishop Antonije of Moravica, served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostles, in the Representation of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Moscow at the throne of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.
