His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received His Eminence Zenon, Bishop of Groholovsky along with His Excellency Archbishop Orlando Antonini, Apostolic Nuncio in Belgrade, with associates on 5 December 2012 at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade.
In separate visits Serbian Patriarch also received His Excellency Scipione Caneva, Ambassador of San Marino to Serbia; His Excellency Mr. Johannes Aigner, Ambassador of Austria to Serbia; as well as Mr. Marko Blagojevic, special advisor to Foreign Affairs Minister Mr. Ivan Mrkic.
His Eminence, Metropolitan Gerasimos, His Eminence, Archbishop Joseph, His Eminence, Archbishop Kyrill, His Eminence, Archbishop Benjamin and His Grace, Bishop Maxim, hosted the Fourth Annual Pan-Orthodox Clergy Advent Retreat in Alhambra, California, November 27 - November 29, 2012.
On Sunday, December 2, 2012, Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church hosted a Stewardship presentation. Father Ljubomir Krstic asked David Batrich to present an overview of Stewardship to the parish. "We have many parishioners that were interested in learning more about Stewardship and felt it would be helpful to have the National Stewardship Committee discuss what Stewardship is and how it can benefit our parish" said Father Ljubomir.
With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, on 3 December 2012, at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno and Major General Mladen Vuruna signed the Agreement on the continuation of the cooperation.
In 2007 religious education became a regular subject in the Military High School which represented the beginning of the cooperation in education with the Military Academy to which the Military High School belongs. Pupils showed a great interest for spiritual educational which encouraged the authorities to expand program to the Military Academy as well. In 2008 the Agreement on cooperation between the Committee for religious education of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac and the Military Academy was signed.
