As in every year, St. Sava Church in Issaquah, WA celebrated Serbian Days in commemoration of the consecration of the church. This year we were blessed to have His Grace, Bishop Maxim join us. His Grace celebrated the Divine Liturgy at our sister church The Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God (Pokrov) Church in Seattle on July 28 along with concelebrants Fr. Serafim Gascoigne, parish priest, Fr. Ilija Balach of St. Sava Church and Fr. Nikola Todorovic of St. Stephen the First Martyr Church in Portland. After Divine Liturgy everyone was treated to a delicious lunch and during lunch were entertained by instrumental and vocal musical renditions.
With the solemn vesper service, and then spiritual academy in the monastery of Djurdjevi Stupovi, on Friday, August 3, 2012 as well as with the Divine Liturgy on August 4, 2012 on the feast day of Saint Mary Magdalene, the 10th anniversary of the restoration of the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic was celebrated.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriach served on Saturday, August 4, 2012 in Belgrade's church of St. Mark the memorial service for the suffered of the military action "Storm", with the concelebration of priests and deacons of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac. The prayerful remembrance of the suffered in this military action was attended by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, vicar of Patriarch, Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, Minister of Defence and the first vice president of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Russian Ambassador Alexander Konuzin, chief of the Staff of the Army of Serbia Ljubisa Dikovic, members of the Army of Serbia and manz citizens.
The feast day of Holy hieromartyr Margaret was solemnly celebrated in the monastery of Klisina, in the presence of many priests and believers who traditionally gathered in this monastery. On the Even of the feast day the all night vigil service was served by His Grace Bishop Porfirije of Jegar, abbot of the Kovilj monastery.
