With great pride in our forefathers who struggled and sacrificed in order to found and perpetuate our Holy Church, and much joy in the celebration of an important milestone, parishioners and friends of the Holy Ascension of Our Lord Church in Youngwood, Pennsylvania, celebrated 100 years of service to God on May 20, 2012.
Divine Liturgy was concelebrated by Proto Dragoljub Malich and former parish priest Proto Stephen Zaremba and Proto Vladimir Demshuk. The choir was directed by Shan Stanoszek and the Epistle was read by Lauren Musgrave. Honored Kumovi were Phil Monte and Angeline Babich.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch attended yesterday, on June 11, 2012 on the occasion of the inauguration of the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic. The reception at the building of the Presidency of Serbia was also attended by His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa and His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, vicar of Serbian Patriarch.

After the evening service in the church of St. Sava in Zagreb where His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch was present along with the host Metropolitan Jovan and many Bishops of our Holy Church, the reception was held at the premises of the spiritual centre. Among invitees there were high representatives of the City of Zagreb led by mayor Milan Bandic, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Stanislav Vukicevic, representatives of the Serbian institutions and organizations in Croatia, as well as the all who helped finishing of the construction of this magnificent church. For the great help and cooperation during the construction of the Grammar school and the spiritual centre, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch awarded Mayor of Zagreb Mr. Milan Bandic the Order of Emperor Constantine the Great.
