Mostar - On Sunday, June 3, 2012 Holy Pentecost was celebrated, when the bells from the Cathedral church in Mostar was heard again after two decades. The Divine Liturgy was served by Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina with the concelebration of heugomen Danilo of Zitomislic, heugomen Sava of Tvrdos, protopresbyter-staurophor Aleksa Zubac of Nevesinje and all the priesthood of Deanery of Mostar-Neretva.
His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno served on Whit Tuesday Divine Liturgy in the church of St. Sava on Vracar. The brotherhood of the church concelebrated.
After the partaking of the Holy Communion of a great number of believers Bishop Atanasije held a sermon on the force of Holy Spirit.
On June 7, 2012 His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch with members of the Holy Synod of Bishops, Their Graces Bishops Vasilije of Srem, Irinej of Backa and Jovan of Sumadija arrived in a three-day visit to the Metropolitanate of Zagreb-Ljubljana and the Republic of Croatia. The host, Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb-Ljubljana, priests and faithful people welcomed the Serbian Patriarch and Their Graces Bishops in the Cathedral church in the Transfiguration of the Lord where doxology was served.
