His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received on May 30, 2011 at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade His Eminence Metropolitan Kyrril of Varna and Veliki Preslav accompanied by His Excellency Georgi Dimitrov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Serbia.
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch recieved today on June 1, 2011 at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade Her Excellency Ana Hrustanovic, newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Italy.
The feast day of the capital, Belgrade - the Ascension of the Lord was also solemnly celebrated this year. The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy, which was served by His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch in the church of the Ascension of the Lord, with the concelebration of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Australia-New Zealand and many priests, was a beginning of the joyful celebration of the feast day.
Following the solemn celebration of the monastery's Patron Saint's Day of the Ascension of Christ, in the monastery of Visoki Decani an assembly of the monastic fraternity was held in the evening hours, which was presided by Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren.

In the monastery of the Patriarchate of Pec the feast day of the wonderworking icon of Theotokos of Pec was solemnly celebrated. With the blessing of Serbian Patriarch the Divine Liturgy was served by Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren with the concelebration of the head of the church of St. Sava in Belgrade, protopresbyter-staurophor Radivoj Panic and protopresbyter-staurophor Nedeljko Bozic. Besides the sisterhood of the monastery led by heugomene Fevronija in the Divine Liturgy also a group of believers from Belgrade and Pancevo participated.
In Visoki Decani monastery the feast day of the Ascension of the Lord was solemnly celebrated. The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren with the concelebration of ten priests. As before, many believers from Metohija's enclaves as well as pilgrims from many parts of Serbia.
