I am willing to accept the decisions of the Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church, although I do not agree with them, said Bishop Artemije in his first public address since his dismissal from the administration of the diocese. Bishop Artemije called for unity in the Church.
Bishop Artemije said in Gračanica that he accepts the decisions of the Synod of the SOC, although he does not agree with them, in the expectation that the Assembly of the SOC will adopt the most suitable solution with respect to his dismissal and possible abuses in the operation of the Diocese of Raška and Prizren.
This year's Diocesan Annual Assembly will be hosted by the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, Ohio. The Assembly will begin on Friday, February 26, 2010 beginning at 6pm with registration.
The following day the Holy Hierarchical Divine Liturgy will begin at 8:00am. All reports will distributed to clergy and delegates at the meeting in Cleveland.

For the third consecutive year, the Canonical Orthodox Christian Bishops on the West Coast con-celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the first Sunday of Great Lent. This year, the event was hosted by the Right Reverend Bishop Maxim, Bishop of the Western American Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church in North and South America at the See of the Diocese, Saint Stevan's Cathedral in Alhambra.

The head of the Greek Liaison Office in Pristina, Dimitris Moskopoulos, will be mediating between the Serbian Orthodox Church, on one side, and the EU and institutions on Kosovo, on the other, in the sphere of the protection of the religious and cultural heritage of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosmet, it was announced from the office of EU Special Representative in the Province Peter Feith. It has been specified this is in accordance with Kosovo's obligations in the field of religious and cultural heritage. Moskopoulos will be mediating in activities on the preservation of the religious and cultural heritage and will be actively engaged in the raising of the level of awareness regarding cultural heritage, reads the announcement.
