On Monday, May 30, 2011, His Grace, Bishop Maxim together with the clergy in the LA area and the members and supporters of the Serbian United Benevolent Society celebrated the Divine Liturgy and prayed for the blessed repose of the souls of our departed loved ones and for the heroic Serbian men and women who sacrificed their lives so that we may live in freedom.

The liturgical day began with Vespers on the eve of St. Thomas Sunday continuing with Matins and the Hierarchical Liturgy the following morning.
