On October 17, 2011 His Grace Bishop David of Krusevac served the acatist to Most Holy Three-handed Theotokos in the Cathedral church of St. George in Krusevac.
After the acathist Bishop David met with religious teachers of the Krusevac vicarage and held a sermon regardin the significance and responsibility of this service that religious teachers have.
Today at the Gallery of the RTS the documentary television series ICON was released, screened based on the book of Bishop Dr Jovan (Puric) of Nis the Icon of Christ - Human face of the God. The documentary was written and directed by deacon Nenad Ilic. The documentary series was presented by Bishop Dr Jovan of Nis, deacon Nenad Ilic, Mr. Bozidar Nikolic, editor in chief of the Cultural and educational programme; Mr. Miodrag Zupanc, editor-in-chief of Cultural and educational programme; and the host was Majda Ropret Filipovic.
With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch on Saturday, October 29 2011, a seminar entitled Towards the Edict o Milan was held at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade.
On Friday, October 28, at the Book Fair there was a presentation of a new edition of the Holy Bible Old and New Testament (along with deuterocanonical books which were translated into Serbian by His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral and retired Bishop Atanasije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina). In the presence of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, Their Graces Bishops Hrizostom of Zica and Georgije of Canada about this edition of the Publishing Fund of the SOC it was spoken by Their Graces Bishops Irinej of Backa and Atanasije of Hvosno.
On the stand of the Publishing Fund of the SOC Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac in the hall no. 4 of the Belgrade Book Fair yesterday three works of Serbian Patriarch Pavle were presented: Interview I, Interview II and Woman in Orthodox Church. About these significant publications were spoken by His Grace Bishop David of Krusevac and protoprebyter-staurophor Vladimir Vukasinovic, editor in chief of the Publishing Fund of the SOC.
The academic choir Collegium musicum, led by the conducter Darinka Matic Marovic, within Bemus, held a concert on Kolarac. During 40 years of the existence, the choir held premiers of more than 200 compositions.
The conducter Darinka Matic, these days practiced with the choir like on the first day, when the creation of the institution Collegium musicum began.
