Greeting on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram (Eid al-Fitr)
It is Our honor and joy to extend heartfelt greetings to all our brothers and sisters of the Muslim faith – especially those who live together with our people in the homeland and in the diaspora – on the occasion of the conclusion of Ramadan and the celebration of Bayram, with our most sincere wishes that they may celebrate this great feast in love, health, and true joy.
Every human effort to bring peace and love into the contemporary world, filled with many unrests, crises, and terrible wars, is the most beautiful return gift to our Creator and Giver of all good things, and a pledge of hope that His gracious will shall triumph despite everything. Therefore, for us as well as for all people of good will, regardless of religious and other differences, the spiritual struggle undertaken by our Muslim brothers and sisters during Ramadan – now crowned in these blessed days with the feast of Bayram – is of exceptional value and worthy of every praise.
May the noble Bayram be happy and blessed for you all!
